Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Form Wire, trading as FormWire ("FormWire", "we", "us"), handles personal data. Form Wire is the data controller for data about our account holders and website visitors. For submissions your forms collect from your own visitors, you are the controller and FormWire processes that data on your behalf.

Data we collect and why

• Account data (name, email, login credentials): to create and run your account — contract performance.
• Form submissions (whatever fields your forms send): to store and show them to you — contract performance.
• Usage and technical data (IP address, device and browser information, logs): to secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems — legitimate interests.
• Support messages: to answer your questions — legitimate interests.
• Subscription records (plan, status, renewal dates): to give you access to what you paid for — contract performance.

Card and payment details are collected directly by Paddle, not by us.

Who we share data with

• Service providers that host and run our infrastructure, email delivery and support tools;
• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, managing subscriptions, payments, tax compliance and invoicing;
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants;
• Authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

Retention

We keep account data while your account is open and form submissions until you delete them or close your account. Afterwards data is deleted or anonymised, except where we must keep records by law (for example, billing records).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us to use these rights; we respond within one month.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and per-account data isolation to protect your data.

Cookies

We use only essential storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your theme. We do not use advertising cookies.
